Swedos Assistance

Swedos specialises in undertaking small occasional tasks. Assistance in the garden is limited to lawn mowing, hedge cutting, and sometimes a little clearing.

Tools available include a petrol lawnmower, electric strimmer or small lawnmower, and simple hand tools.  Grass cuttings and other garden waste created during visits are usually disposed of free of charge, but sometimes a small charge applies.

Prices are based on our standard rate of £7.00 per hour, but most jobs are estimated and quoted for.  Charges quoted include an allowance for distance (see our Area of Operation map for details of the different locations.)

For several years we have undertaken boat valeting tasks for a member of Poole Yacht Club.  This includes washing and stripping or sanding down the hull and propeller of a boat, painting the hull below the waterline with antifouling, and thoroughly cleaning and polishing the upper hull and cockpit areas.

Our charges for these works are based on our standard rate of £7.00/hour per person working, plus expenses such as cleaning products, paint and polish.

Please note that as most of our Special Assistance tasks are done outside, they are usually dependent on weather conditions, but postponements or cancellations are rare.
